By booking a charter or accessing our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.
2. Service Overview
CentralKnowledgeDock offers an array of high-end yacht charter services, which include but are not limited to:
- Daily yacht rentals
- Sunset cruises
- Corporate retreats
- Private events
- Multi-day charters
All services are contingent on availability and climatic conditions. We maintain the right to alter or cancel services without prior notice.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To secure a charter, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide correct and complete details
- Make a payment for the necessary deposit as indicated in your booking confirmation
- Consent to these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
A charter booking is considered confirmed only after payment is received, and we provide written confirmation. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone at our discretion.
3.3 Availability
All charters depend on the availability of the vessel and proper weather conditions. We will endeavor to fulfill your preferred dates and times as best we can.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
All quoted costs are in £ and include all applicable taxes unless noted otherwise. Price points are subject to adjustments without any prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% of the overall charter cost payable during booking
- Balance: Payable 48 hours before the charter commences
- Additional charges (if applicable): Due upon the charter's conclusion
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified cheques. All payment proceedings are processed through secure, encrypted platforms.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- More than 72 hours prior to departure: A full refund minus any processing fees
- 24-72 hours prior to departure: A 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund offered
5.2 Weather Cancellations
Should our captain deem the weather conditions unsafe, we will propose to:
- Reschedule your charter at no extra cost for the next suitable date
- Issue a full refund if rescheduling proves unfeasible
5.3 Mechanical Issues
Should your designated vessel experience mechanical issues, we will strive to provide a suitable replacement. If no replacement is accessible, we will reimburse the total amount paid.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
All guests are required to:
- Adhere to all directions given by the crew
- Use safety gear as instructed when necessary
- Disclose any medical conditions that may impede safety
- Stay within the vessel's designated areas
6.2 Prohibited Items
The following are not permitted aboard:
- Glass containers
- Illegal substances
- Firearms or any other weapons
- Excessive non-alcoholic drinks (beyond reasonable consumption)
- Pets (unless permission is granted beforehand)
6.3 Conduct
Guests must act respectfully at all times. We hold the authority to cease a charter immediately and without refund if a passenger's conduct compromises safety or hinders the enjoyment of others.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
Our responsibility is capped at the charter fee paid by you. We are not accountable for:
- Personal injuries stemming from passenger carelessness
- Theft or destruction of personal belongings
- Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Delays caused by weather or events out of our hands
7.2 Insurance Coverage
Comprehensive marine insurance is held by us, encompassing our fleet and activities. Passengers need to ensure their own travel and personal insurance.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
By choosing to engage in our charter services, you accept that marine activities come with inherent risks and you agree to take responsibility for your own safety and security.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
Adjustments to itineraries, routes, or timetables may be made based on climatic conditions, safety parameters, or operational demands. We will do our utmost to provide similar alternative experiences when possible.
9. Force Majeure
We cannot be held accountable for delays, cancellations, or changes brought about by factors outside our control, including, but not restricted to:
- Extreme weather
- Natural calamities
- Regulatory enforcement
- Closures of ports
- Mechanical breakdowns
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal details are managed following our Privacy Policy. You consent to the collection and usage of your data as specified in our Privacy Policy by utilizing our services.
11. Intellectual Property
All contents on our site, like text, visuals, logos, and images are secured by copyright and trademark legislation. You are barred from copying, distributing, or creating derived works without our prior written consent.
12. Governing Law
The laws of the jurisdiction in United Kingdom govern these Terms. All disputes will be settled in courts within the vicinity of Southampton, United Kingdom.
